Connect is a vibrant church that embraces and welcomes all kinds. Our vision to “Help people find life and live it” is one we live through by offering activities and programs for all members of our church and community. We hope you find something that enriches your life and maybe something you can be a part of that helps you to invest in the lives of others.
We run a fantastic kids program for the duration of our Sunday Service. We cater for pre-school (Heroes), prep-grade 3 (Champs) and grades 4-7 (Gang). All of our team members hold Working With Children Checks and are led by our Kids Pastors.
[ COLLECTIVE SOCIETY ]
Our young people (ages 12-18) meet together every Friday night at Connect Youth to discover their great value, purpose and potential. It’s not all serious though, the young people have fun, play tribal wars, and hang out at socials. See Connect Youth’s Facebook and Instagram for more details.
We are the Young Adult Community of Connect Church in Bendigo. We exist to help the young adults of Bendigo to ‘Find Life and Live It!’
We gather for energetic praise, authentic worship, encountering God’s presence and hearing His Word at 5PM Sundays and throughout the week in Connect Groups, on campus at La Trobe University through Red Frogs and social events on a regular basis.
We would love to meet you and help you connect with God, His plan for your life and an awesome community of young adults. If you’re between 18 and 30 years of age, come along with us and get connected!
MENS / WOMENS
We have events that run throughout the year for both Men and Women. These events are organised and promoted through the church and website and are a great opportunity for people to build relationship in an informal setting.
Hymns Alive is an opportunity for our local seniors to get together. We sing hymns, hear inspiring stories from a speaker and share afternoon tea together. It is a popular way to build and maintain friendships. Courtesy busses run to and from local villages.
Here at Connect Church, we recognise each person’s journey is unique and celebrate where they are currently at, while looking to the possibility of an enriched future.
Ultimately we believe that a maturing Christian will grow in wisdom, influence and in relationships with God and people. Along the journey, we provide several avenues for people to grow – through teaching in our services, Connect Groups and training.
We meet together in smaller groups all over our city throughout the week to hang out and make space to form relationships and community. Whether it be a study based home group, or an interactive short course, there will always be good people, laughs, food and coffee.
At Connect Church we are called to help people find life and live it. This is not just a statement but understanding that God has asked us to live lives bigger than just our own. We are committed to crossing the church boarders and reaching into our community, our city and our world to help others.
We have several local and international mission focuses that we have partnered with who have the same heart – to help people find life and live it.
CONNECT MINISTRY COLLEGE
God’s plan for our lives is bigger than we can possibly imagine. It’s bigger than not only what we are doing today, but also who we are. This means we need to take steps into becoming a bigger person and prepare ourselves to fulfil God’s plan and purpose. Connect Ministry College is committed to helping people grow into all God has for them. We want every person to step into God’s ‘bigger’ for their life and Connect Ministry College will teach, train and shape you to become ready to step into that incredible future.
